Just bought a set of dinky little cast iron casseroles - round, with lids, Le Creuset style, but only 180 mils - 6 fl.oz.

A bit small for soup or sweets - what can I use them for?

They're actually beanpots for making little tiny bean stews apparently.... I use mine for individual desserts though!

I've been thinking - I do that occasionally - how about an individual terrine or fish pie as starters? Or use them to bake a Camembert or goat's cheese?

If They haven't been used by Christmas, I could make some super game pate and give them as presents! They were only £3 each from Makro in their sale...
Using them for terrines sounds like a great idea and definitely a nice present idea - I like your thinking! Mine are the proper Le Creuset ones so I'm keeping them - I won them in a competition :)
