Personally, I can't see why there is such fury about it. Is it really any worse than duck or chicken liver?

don't see anything wrong with it, i have eaten venison and very nice it is too. And are these the same activists who are remarkably quiet, or so it seems when you visit the touchy subject of halal meats..

Well, I bought reindeer steaks at Lidl last Christmas (along with ostrich and springbok) - all delicious!

Having had several trips to Scandinavia over the past few years, at this time of year, I have sampled various reindeer dishes. Most including stew, caserole, curry, and burgers were really delish!!! Reindeer pate ---- I'll go for that!

I don;t have a problem with it at all and have eaten it.

I'm not sure I agree with the label declaring it a 'farm raised relative of Rudolph' though! That is possibly a step too far.....

They have deliberately and very succesfully got huge free advertising and publicity for tinned Venison pate.
That is all it is , all supermarkets sell venison in every thing from joints to sausages and there is no outcry.
