Whitby, there's a chippy on the Abbey side of the harbour near the floating deck the fishing boats use that's spot on. Much better then Magpies.

I judged a fancy dress contest at a function in Whitby and the standard of costumes was very high.......however i judged the winner to be a young hula hula girl with big "....." for which i was loudly booed.

My local chippy is very nice, but it's a bit "restauranty".

They have lots of tables, and waitress service, and you can have a bottle of wine.
