we're loving our new waffle machine and have perfected the recipe for light, fluffy waffles for our weekend breakfast treat.
I was wondering if anyone has tried savoury ones? It's just like a sweet yorkshire pudding batter - so do you think it would work without the vanilla and sugar? I was thinking with sausages and onion gravy!

Never tried them but my daughter says chicken waffles are what the texans eat. Have a look on line for a recipe
I used to like Birdseye Potato Waffles. Do they still make them? I havent had them for years.
Try them with bacon and maple syrup - they work great with eggy bread so they might do well with waffles
