Morning all

Me and my sisters are trying to plan something for our parent ruby wedding anniversary next month and are completely stuck.

We don't need present ideas as we have that sorted but more ideas of what to do.

We thought BBQ but needed to wait to see what weather was like nearer to the time.

What other things can we do for them if the BBQ idea falls through.

TIA

Make sure you have a Gazebo if you go the BBQ route, maisemoo.
A champagne afternoon tea at a lovely hotel, great idea and always appreciated.

Jamesnan - my parents are not those kind of people. my mum doesnt drink and my dad doesnt do 'posh' LOL
How about a family trip to the cinema with a meal somewhere unpretentious like a local carvery/curry house
How about a nice meal at a nice restaurant somewhere, It doesn't have to be a really posh one.
For our 40th our daughters put on a party for us with friends and relations in a local hall and did a 'This Is Your Life.' Complete with with a red book and photo's.
It does depend, of course, what kind of things your parents like.
