you posted about the minced pork, apples and mashed with grated cheese over it.
I'd love to give that a try. Sounds gorgeous. Any particular grated cheese, e.g. Parmesan?

ok basically if you know how to make shepherds pie its easy
brown the pork mince and some finely chopped onion in a pan with a little oil add finely chopped swede and carrot and stir it in
add a good sprinkle of dried sage half a teaspoon of fresh if you have it 3 cloves of crushedgarlic two green apples grated coarsely
make a pint of pork stoick with cubes and add the cornflour blended with a little cold wather and tip into the meat mix cook gently until the veg is just tender.
put meat mix in an oven proof dish
make some mash with approx 3 large spuds to half a medium swede add some finley chopped steamed leaks if you have them and some butter or olive oil. top the meat mix I use red leicesterand cheddar on the top but a crumbly white like wensleydale works quite well.
hot oven for 20-25 mins serve with green veg.
