I've got a number of Rhubarb plants in my garden and was planning on making Rhubarb crumble with them, there's a lot of plants so i'll end up with a lot of crumbles, i was therefore thinking of making some jam with it aswell, does anyone have a good simple recipe for making rhubarb jam?
I made some rhubarb and ginger jam earlier in the year. I put each amounts of rhubarb and jam sugar in a bowl, left it over night, no liquid except a couple of tab;lespoons of syrup from the stem ginger. Next morning, tipped it all into a big pan and brought it to the boil, added a couple of tablespoons of chopped stem ginger. Tested it on a frozen saucer, it should wrinkle then poured into warmed jars.
