Following some recent success with new meals I am going to try my lot with some sort of savoury pancakes this week but don't know what to serve them with. The pancakes will probably feature ham, cheese and some other (as yet unknown) ingredients. I'm worried that the pancakes won't be filling enough but don't think they would work with potatoes. Thanks.

Restaurants often serve savoury pancakes with a mixed leaf salad but, as here, green vegetables can be suggested by some chefs:

But, if you use the pancakes like a pizza base, you might not need anything to go with them:

An additional thought:
Sweetcorn (or mixed sweetcorn and peas) would go well with ham and cheese.
When you mentioned savoury pancakes it reminded me of my childhood. My aunt used to make savoury pancakes, they were really savoury in the way that she made them with stuffing mix, sage and onion I think. Not sure of the ratio of stuffing to pancake mix but they were very tasty with a few fried new potatoes and peas or sweetcorn. I've never tried to make them myself, I think they could be something you either like or hate. I've always fancied a Spanish one with potatoes in them.
sherrardk if it's for the little 'uns my two used to love pancakes filled with beans, sausage, cheese, onion and mushroom, all cooked in the one pan cowboy stylee. Really filling and no need for potatoes.
Treat them like Quesadillas,, top one pancake with filling of choice (anything goes), then top with another pancake, fry in a lightly greased pan and turn so both sides crisp a bit.
Cut into wedges
French 'gallettes' are very filling. You can add whatever you want. They're made with buckwheat flour; ham, cheese, vegetable puréee, scallops, fish, black pudding... whatever you want!

Strudel leaves? Could we use filo pastry? That sounds interesting.
Herby pancakes filled with ham, Stilton cheese and orange segments, cover with a bechemal sauce and bake in the oven, served with broccoli and carrots and boiled potatoes
Pancakes are very filling, whether sweet or savoury - we love both. I wrap seafood in the cooked pancakes, then top with a cheese sauce, top with a little grated cheese and put in a very hot oven till the cheese bubbles.
