I'm going to make lemon posset for first time, and I've just noticed I should have double cream and guess what! I bought single. Is there anything I can do or am I going to have a drive to Tesco? Thanks in advance.

DT, I've gone with the 50/50 yoghurt one, but I'll try the other one next time. I've already done shortbread biscuits to go with he posset a la Nigel Slater:-) thanks for all your help. X

horseshoes, the one next weekend is a piddling little event compared to the main one in October - that one lasts a week and is brilliant

Oh I really, really want to go. I'd dress up too but OH not so keen on that, but I've got a few months to work on him!

I think it starts Friday 1st November this year. If it is any different I will let you know.
One tip - all the B&B's get booked up so I would advise you not to leave it much longer.
Mr O is a bit of a misery when it comes to getting dressed up. The first time he went in his normal clothes he felt so out of place he never did it again. Mind you, all he does is wear a flowing white cotton tunic shirt thingy and black trousers and calls it his Bohemian Poet look
