Well, What's For Dinner? I Finished Sewing My Wedding Outfit Just About Lunchtime

So I've done some baking. Two victoria sandwiches, one plain I'll freeze and do with either raspberry jam or lemon curd for the weekend. The other one is chocolate and I've done some rum cream, they can have that tonight, rum and chocolate cake. made a batch of cherry scones and some sultana cup-cakes and finally lemon drizzle cake. For tonights dinner
Hubby, daughter and me have salmon encroute, with a duxelle of prawns and button mushrooms, some new boiled potatoes and some aspargus.

It's not very warm today, and exceedingly wet, so it's stew and dumplings again for me...........

Couple of Pints and then the midweek special at a local Curry Establishment ... :)

Chinese for me and Nungate this evening....hopefully set me up for round 2 of Avon deliveries

Chicken tikka, and some onion bhajis to start, served with a lemony mint and yoghurt sauce and salad garnish.
lamb bhuna, a beef Madras, and a chicken and prawn dopiaza, dhal, bombay potatoes, pilau rice, naan breads, chutney/pickles and poppadums.
Lassi/sherbet or Indian lager to drink.
Tropical fruit salad and mango kulfi for pud.

I've been sat indoors all afternoon looking out at the wind and rain and wishing I could get on with the gardening, maybe I should have done some baking. Oh well too late now and I can't be bothered to cook anyway so we'll be having a take away Indian for tea.

OH came home with the two hugest pork chops I've ever seen! So they are in the oven now, smells delicious. Just those with some roast potatoes, yorkshires and a bit of veg.
