They also cause my clothes to shrink - I don't heat them up I like them cold

cheese, granny, good old fashioned Gromit & Wallace cheese, a hunk of Lancashire, Cheshire and Wensleydale all work well alongside.
If you put anything in the microwave which is more than half sugar, such a Christmas pud, you risk the food bursting into flames. In this case you have to include the natural fruit sugars in the dried fruit.
