When certain fruits are available my wife likes to make jams and marmalade. She made a grapefruit m/lade that was good but it didn't really taste like grapefruit just like orange m/lade.Is there a certain ingredient that helps to bring out the grapefruit flavour more? She has tried varying the ratio of grapefruit to lemon but with no joy.Thanks.

I have never made pure grapefruit marmalade but I have made lemon marmalade, the recipe of which called for grapefruit to be added. I couldn`t taste the grapefruit. I don`t think it tastes of much. You might have more luck if you use ruby grapefruit (I`m not sure if you can get it in this country though)
