Does Anyone Know If You Can Freeze.....

Does anyone know of you can freeze buttercream. I am trying to get ahead with the cooking this Christmas and thought I'd make the Chocolate Log tomorrow and freeze it, but I am not sure if I can the chocolate buttercream.

do the expt and tell us ?

sorry in case that seems unclear - freeze the buttercream ( chocco flavver - sounz mmmm) and then unfreeze it or thaw it as we might say
and tell us if it tastes as yummy as the days previously

The answer to all these "can I freeze....." questions is the same. Yes, you can freeze anything - it's whether it's worth eating when thawed!
As for buttercream....yes, but you may have to re-beat it when thawed.
