Fishcakes In Air Fryer
12 Answers
Has anyone cooked fishcakes in an air fryer? How did they turn out? (I know the paddle would have to be removed to prevent them being smashed to bits)

I've just tried googling 'fishcakes airfryer' and there seem to be quite a few recipes. (I appreciate that you're not actually seeking a recipe but it certainly shows that fishcakes can be satisfactori ly cooked in airfryers). As an example, I'll offer you this video. I fancy getting an air fryer but the only things that I fry are my fishcakes. I make them from tinned red salmon, smoked mackeral, spices etc and potato. Coated in breadcrumbs and shaped into cakes. They take up an awful lot of oil when fried but when I have sprayed them with oil and grilled them, they are rather dry. I was wondering if they would turn out better from an air fryer
