Thursday. A wet one. Again. I'm going to have to develop gills methinks!
A most enjoyable lunch at the TA yesterday with my friend who drove down from Gloucester. The venison pie was delicious.
Nothing on the calendar for today, so it's domesticity day.

i am glad you had a lovely lunch, i am quite envious really. I sat and watched some good films for a change and then there was The Sound of Music, a great sing along film...

I've never been disappointed at the TA. It's always busy, which says it all really.

It's also a 4* hotel.

looks a lovely place.. i think i said that when visiting my family in Middleton on Sea, there is a smashing pub ten minutes walk from their house called The Beresford
very good it is too, bit like the TA, though i don't think it's a hotel.

Been so busy at work [with only Christmas Day off] and other stuff, but I have a day off today so will have a good sort out... of myself and the house lol x

ok, once i had my coffee i felt more awake. Just watching the news about the fires in Australia, devastating for all caught up in this.

The fires in Australia are terrible. So much damage.

The fires are just devastating :( It's astounding not more have lost their lives but the cost to the wildlife will be irreversible I fear.

Boaty you must be knackered with all your social engagements over the festive period [ I may not post but I always read ;) ].

Kettle has boiled but various cat needs had to be met first lol
