Christmas Day Breakfast
22 Answers
If you're having a turkey and trimmings meal with starters, main and pudding/dessert/cheeseboard etc., do you have breakfast in the morning?
I don't as I'd be too full. Just a couple of coffees for me then I'm done.

Even if I get up really early (e.g. 4am), I often can't face any food at all until around mid-afternoon. So I doubt that I'll eat much before I go out tomorrow morning. (I might possibly have had some cheese and biscuits, with Black Bomber cheddar or similar, if I hadn't left it too late to get to a shop selling decent cheese today. It's the one thing on my Christmas food shopping list that I've not got and I'm already missing it!)
We’re have having an early ish brunch tomorrow, about ten or thereabouts, of black pud, poached eggs, English toasted muffins, and hollandaise sauce.
The main event, Christmas dinner, will be served, somewhere between 4.30 and 5.30, so all the youngsters can eat with us..something we all feel is important. Thank goodness for Ikea high chairs.. :)

Hubby does most of the cooking now Vagus. I can only stand for a fewminutes without my back giving out. To be honest I'm physically and mentally worn out? I wasn't good before, but my bathroom fall has taken its toll. I could quite easily sleep all Christmas day. Son and wife don't do Christmas. All we do is exchange gifts, then they go off for a picnic, usually to the beach!
