I just threw together a salmon pasta bake. (Cooked penne pasta in a shallow dish, topped with half a can of coho salmon, Bisto Best instant cheese sauce and a layer of sliced cheddar, baked for 30 mins at 200C. Yummy!).
Fish and chips from the best chipper in Ireland. Well that's what they say and I don't doubt it.
Long and slightly boozy day so meal picked up on the way home. Off now to watch TV but think I'll be snoozing soon.

I've given up with chippy shops near me, they all now seem to lack customers, so if you do go in and buy they are rubbish. Shame really
Tesco monthly delivery this week so using up stuff.
Rice krispies, Toast, Chicken Pasta thing, Hot dogs (just normal white bread and onions)and some custard for afters.
I'm currently stuffing my face with mascarpone, spinach, mushroom and onion frittata. My usual Sunday night fare.

Anything to wash it down with Pasta.:0>
Oh yes...a cheeky little Shiraz ;)
I had fish and chips from a chippy, rather than in (say) Morrison's café, for the first time in about three years on Friday evening. I went to my favourite chippy, which means passing two others on the 3½ mile drive to get to it and then ignoring the rival shop that's very close to it.

Trade was probably a bit down on what it used to be but they still had a steady stream of customers coming through the door and the quality was as good as ever, with reasonable pricing. (£9.40 for a small rock eel, chips and curry sauce).

They are all suffering a big down turn in my area Buenchico. I just got fed up of throwing them away, and thats not good at yhe prices they now have to charge. The upside is, at last I found a frozen oven chip that is top notch. Aldi ones, that have been 3x cooked in beef dripping, they are the best frozen ones I've ever tasted.
I roasted a leg of lamb with all the normal extras. There's enough left for me to eat it cold tomorrow caveman style.

Did you get out the supermarket without the alarm going off Prudie :0>
My local Sainsbury's cafe used to do an excellent Fish and Chips - unfortunately it's closed down now.

I think they've closed most of them canary, hard to understand why a big company like Sainsburys cant make a simple cafe pay, when in the supplies are already on site and bought at wholesale price.??
A lot of people were disappointed around here when our Sainsbury's cafe closed. There were always customers and it was always busy. My sister and I loved the cottage pie they did and if we weren't early, there was never any left! It's now an Argos pick up point.
