We having pork chops, mash, homemade cauliflower cheese with broccoli & a corn cob.
Jamaican veggie patty and a few Chips - just fancied something easy and spotted them on the shelf. I'm sure they won't be anything like as nice as the ones we used to get many years ago from a market stall but worth a try

I would images they'd be quite spicy, Margo? They sound very nice in any case.

Very nice, Sharon. I love homemade cauliflower and broccoli cheese.
Margo, those supermarket patties have not got a patch on the real thing.
I have a West Indian bakery nearby and the patties are fab!
Jacket spud.
We'll either have:-

wraps with salt n pepper chicken, peppers and onions with guacomole, salsa, soured cream and cheese or

Chicken stuffed with boursin wrapped in bacon in a tarragon and wine sauce on either cous cous or basmati and wild rice or

Cheesy beanos (beans on toast with added grated cheese).
Sharon I had my suspicions that would be the case the ones from the market were the 'real' thing. Bit like the delicious vegetable samosas that were home made by an Indian guy's Mum that were nothing like the supermarket ones. We used to gather lies flies when he brought those into the office

We did our spuds in the air fryer the other day, David, and they were superb.

The chicken sounds delicious, BM, but you can't beat beans on toast. Would love your recipe for Tarragon and Wine Sauce.

Courgette "spaghetti" with an M&S Calabrian chilli and wild fennel ragu. Bit of Parmesan atop. Glass of Valpolicella with that as well. Cherry pie afterwards.
Chicken in a coma. Just hope it doesn't wake up while i'm eating it. Usual dessert of Greek style yoghurt with strawbs and kiwi fruit.
Had a fad on prawn stir fry the past few weeks, so again tonight.
Very cheap meal really to knock up, although peppers are a little more expensive. Prawns don't seem to have gone up compared to other foods.
Nicebloke, peppers here are really cheap & plentiful. We get 'pound book's and there's 6 peppers of any colour combination you want. It's the prawns I find pricy!!!
He's having steak pie, roast pots, veg, gravy.
I'll probably use some nice Sainsbury's sausages I have left from Wednesday, with mixed salad.
Poached Salmon, garlic & herb new potatoes, asparagus spears.
I should explain that I'm on a diet. Steadily losing 1lb per week, but still enjoying my food. :)
Nicebloke - I love prawns and they are so low in fat etc., etc. but watch out for the cholesterol content. I keep them to once a week max..
Lady CG, I have about 3 different versions - which I will post when I am not dealing with worky stuff.

Although what I will say is that in respect of any tarragon sauce, pernod or pastis is your friend. It can be used in minimal quantities to enhance the tarragon and give it a lift or a little more for a really rich deep aniseed flavour. Although completely different, madeira is also a great mix with tarragon.
^^^^^ bowls !!!!!!!
Chinese. Spring rolls, duck pancakes, chicken fried rice n curry sauce.
Something very light. I cooked a large Moussaka with Greek style beans as a birthday treat for my wife yesterday and couldn’t finish what was on my plate. :-( I had the left overs today for a brunch which I don’t normally eat. I felt stuffed last night and I feel stuffed now. Probably a light Greek salad or not.

Oh Togo, I've got food and wine envy. OH didn't bring me a bottle of Languedoc back from Sainsburys :-(

Thanks, BM.

Moussaka is a favourite in our household, Retro. Little one devours it and he takes after his mum with his love of Aubergines.

Pasty, great minds. We're doing sausages for the little one tonight as he did ask for them.

That sounds nice, Jourdain. I really love Asparagus but it does make your week stink.

Prawn stir fry sounds nice, nicebloke. I like cold water prawns in a salad at least once a week.
