Cups to Grams or Ounces

I am making a rice dish and most of my recipes say one cup of rice to two and a bit cups of liquid, but the recipe says 50-60grams of rice per person which doesn't help at all and I am making two separate dishes - one for 12 people and one for 16.

Can anyone help?
