Recipes for hand blender

I got a hand blender for Christmas and have been whipping up loads of great soups in the last week but wondered if anyone else has any other recipe ideas that I could use it for (sweet or savoury)...

They are great for milkshakes and smoothies!
Strawberry Kiwi Milkshakes

4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
4 cups sliced kiwifruit
4 cups milk
4 cups vanilla ice cream
Place the strawberries, kiwi, milk, and ice cream in a blender or a hand blender (in batches, if necessary), and blend until smooth. Pour into tall cups.

Metric:
620 g sliced fresh strawberries
710 g sliced kiwifruit
950 ml milk
530 g vanilla ice cream


Orange Cream Milkshake

1/2 cup milk
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
3 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
In a blender combine milk, ice cream and orange juice concentrate. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, garnish with an orange slice and serve.

Metric:
120 ml milk
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
45 ml frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed


Banana Shake

1 banana, peeled and chopped
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a blender, combine banana, ice cream, milk and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

Metric:
1 banana, peeled and chopped
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
235 ml milk
5 ml vanilla extract
you could make really nice tomato salsa for tortia chips,
with tomatoes, red onion, garlic and fresh herbs

Also it makes great pancake batter !
Good luck, im sure you can buy blender recipe books somewere
ooo and i made my cranberry sauce in one last year

1 punet of cranberries
2 whole oranges
1 cup of sugar
a bit of port for flavour
(add water to get a good consistansy )

Put in the the oranges cut up into quaters (remove the seeds if possible, don't peel) and add the cranberries in hand full at a time add the sugar and the rum

and thats it
