Baking beef steaks?

I'm trying to work out how long to bake some beef steaks. I've cooked bigger cuts before, but i'm not sure if i should apply the same cooking times to these steaks.

So there's 5 steaks = 0.8kg
According to what I know: 20 mins gas mark 8, then 40mins on gas mark 5 for med-well done.

Does that sound about right?

a bit late I know but for next time, you dont add up the weight of the steaks. Because they are separate cuts you just work out the cooking time for one and know they will all cook in that time.

Medium-well done steaks cooked in the oven??
Why dont you try another type of meat if you dont like beef?
