Manchester tart (pastry filled tart - bottom of pastry lined with sliced banana, then layer of jam, then tick custard and topped off with a sprinkle of coconut) all served thick and cold - yummy!!!

Sausages (hard and overcooked served with Grey mashed potatoes
Overcooked wet cabbage
Semolina (Frog Spawn)
All the things Woofgang mentions
All the above reasons for taking a packed lunch.
I hope you are not actually serving 60's school meals at the reunion ;o)

I could never bring myself to even taste it tiggerblue! And that's what we all called it!!
Come to think of it , it was Tapioca we called frog spawn. Semolina was not quite as revolting.

Oh yes, pixi, spam in batter - lovely (not)
To be honest I don't think our school meals had any more nutritious value than some of the junk food they say is served in schools nowadays.
Every vegetable served seemed to have been cooked for at least 24hrs and as for all those stodgy puddings with custard. I still hate them now. I don't remember having any fresh fruit either. And how did they manage to turn the mashed potatoes grey.
Fond memories.

Spotted Dick was a favourite of ours. I remember also having this concoction where raspberry blancmange was whipped up with raspberry jelly - that was lovely.
One thing that I hated, but my friends loved, was chocolate tart - a pastry base filled with some sort of chocolate paste.
For mains, one of my favourites was cheese and potatoe pie - cheesy mash on a pastry case. They served it up with tinned tomatoes.
