Great stuff! Really moist! It takes time to cook, sometimes going over the stated time, but it's really nice, hope you like it! xxx

Thankyou sachs will give that a go and let you know
i am sorry dont have a recipe but borrowed my sisters a few time and it was out a magazine years and years ago. The trick is to 'feed' the cake. Obv a little late now but we normally try to make the cake in October. You then put lots of little holes in the cake, and every week/10days lovingly pour your choice of alcohol in. My sister uses sherry and I used whisky. It does not taste like whisky and actually the sherry one was a bit bitter - I took more time to 'feed' my cake (cause I had more time) and really it was lovely.
Try the Hairy Bakers wedding cake recipe, use one third of the ingredients to make a 8inch square or 9 inch round. It is the best celebration cake I have ever made. The malt and syrup makes it very yummy!
