Lamb Makhani
Does anyone have a recipe for Lamb Makhani, I've searched the net and keep getting butter chicken recipes for some reason. I'm trying to re-create sometihing i have at indiain restuarants quite often which is lamb (or chicken) in a creamy tomatoey curry sauce. Delicious!! Any recipes greatly received, thanks in advance

Is a chicken Makhani page, just substitiute lamb for chicken and remamber lamb will need to cook a little longer than chicken.
Just play with amounts of ingredients till you get what you want or follow one of the many chicken recipes online and swap for lamb.

i agree with the previous poster - murgh makhani is definitely a popular curry, that's why you're finding so many chicken recipes. i've been to india twice and cook alot of indian and can't say i've had a lamb makhani. in india specifcially they eat mutton (goat) not lamb. so maybe google mutton makhani ??? in the meantime these recipes call for chicken, but like mentioned you could try subbing lamb! http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipes/searchresults.aspx?text=makhani
