Kama Flour
I have found a recipe on the internet for truffles using mascarpone cheese. However this Estonian recipe calls for Kama flour and I don't know what I can replace this with. Can anyone tell me what it is.
Many thanks.

The kama flour is a mixture of roasted barley, rye, oat and pea flour. The oat flour may be completely replaced by wheat flour, or kibbled black beans may be added to the mixture. (apparently Kama can be used without cooking)
While cocoa powder is the traditional coating, truffles can also be coated in confectioners (powdered or icing) sugar, toasted and chopped nuts, tempered chocolate, shredded coconut, or even shaved chocolate.

Thank you for your reply Carrot99 The recipe is as follows. I shall probably replace with ground almonds and cocoa powder to roll them in. I don't fancy Kama flour, even if I could find it. Thanks again,
MASCARPONE TRUFFLES
250 grams of mascarpone
3 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp raisins
2 Tbsp chopped walnuts or hazelnuts
3 heaped Tbsp kama flour
a generous dash of cream liqueur
Mix everything together, put into the fridge for a while. Form into small balls, roll in kama and keep in the fridge
