Turkey crown - cooking from frozen?
9 Answers
I bought a turkey crown from Tesco, that is stuffed and topped with bacon from their finest range, only small serves 3-5 so the packet says but I am not so sure (am disappointed with size of it - bad purchase!)
My question is the packet says for best results to cook from frozen - do you think this is okay I was expecting to defrost if first?
Thanks

I too would definately defrost before cooking. I would take it out of the freezer about 24 hours before cooking and when defrosted put in the normal fridge. Try cooking in a roasting bag, I have cooked my crown this way and it turned out fantastic, very tasty!! Use some of the fat to make your gravy and if you need a good receipt for that I can help!! Good luck and happy Xmas.
