Ok,the only it says that you should bake for 30minutes,it needed more say 45 to 60 minutes
150g/5oz dark chocolate,70% or higher
125g/4oz unsalted butter
5 eggs separated
170g/6oz light brown or light muscovado sugar
175g/6oz ground almonds
150mls/5fl oz amaretto
100ml/4fl oz double cream
preheat oven to 150c/300f/gas mark 2, melt the chocolate and the butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water.Once melted together,remove and cool slightly.Whisk egg whites until they form soft peaks,mix the sugar and the ground almonds into the the chocolate mixture,then stir in the egg yolks and half the amaretto liquer.Fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture with a metal spoon.Line the base of a baking tin with parchment paper and butter the sides,then pop into the oven i would say for 45 minutes or so until cooked,once cooked remove and allow to cool slightly,whip the cream until its nice and thick,and add remaining amaretto,serve up on a plate with lashings of the amaretto cream.bon appetite!
