Serves 4

A delicious Portuguese seafood rice dish, full of prawns, crabs and mussels, but you can pick whatever seafood you like. White fish is also very good. Arroz de marisco is similar to Spanish paella but it is a bit more like a fish stew, as it still has a broth that isn’t completely reduced like paella, the rice has a sticky moist texture similar to an Italian risotto.

Portuguese seafood rice is a very tasty dish full of flavour, and is a wonderful dish to cook when you have guest round, the more you cook the better it tastes as you can add more variety of seafood in the dish. It is a dish definitely made for sharing and celebrating.
