Kingsmill bread is produced by Associated British Foods plc; a multinational food, ingredients and retail group headquartered in London. The company was founded by Canadian Willard Garfield Weston in 1935, initially as Food Investments Limited, with the name changing to Associated British Foods in 1960.

Experts agree that most people should be eating more whole grains in their diet. The Kingsmill brand is dedicated to making their products as high as possible in whole grains. For example their 50/50 range is a white bread with the goodness of whole grain.
