Mars Bar Rice Krispy Cakes (Dessert)

The very secret ingredient of Mars Bars makes these the yummiest rice krispy cakes you will ever cook. The chewy, soft, texture is guaranteed to impress your children and all their friends, if you haven’t eaten them all yourself. Get the children involved, after all rice Krispy cakes are at their most tasty and messiest when made by your budding chiefs.  Decorate the tops with your favourite sweets, mini eggs always goes down well at Easter.   

Ingredients

  • 115g Rice Krispies
  • 115g unsalted butter
  • 4 large Mars Bars or 8 fun size Mars Bars


Method

  1. Chop the Mars Bars into chunks.
  2. Melt the butter in a large sauce pan, over low heat.
  3. Add the mars bars to the pan and stir occasionally, until they are melted and mixed with the butter.
  4. Pour in the Rice Krispies and gently stir until coved well with chocolate mixture.
  5. Divide in to cup cake cases and wait to cool.
