A.� The main theme from Jaws has been used time and again since its release in the 1980s. Films that have used it for its 'comedy' value include The Secret of My Success, Swingers, Airplane, Top Secret and Caddyshack. The theme tune is available on, among other things, John Williams Greatest Hits 1969 - 1999.

Other hits are A Fistfful of Dollars from the film of the same name. Ennio Morricone was a classmate of the Dollars director Sergio Leone, and was hired because Leono liked some of his songs. A.� This song, Adagio for Strings, has become the unofficial anthem of American mourning. The song, which was originally composed in 1936 by Samuel Barber, was also featured in Lorenzo's Oil and The Elephant Man.

The war hit Apocalypse Now had Ride of the Valkyries as its theme. The music of Wagner is still banned in Israel on the grounds that Wagner's music inspired Hitler to war ands this track as used in Apocalypse Now has been cited as proof ot if potency.

A.� This song - It's Caper Time - was originally performed by The Wire-Haired Terriers Athletic Club. It was recruited by award-winning composer Quincy Jones to create a realistic singalong anthem.

A.� It's the Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni. It is the intermezzo taken from Pietro Mascagni's one-act opera of the same name. First performed in Italy in 1890, it tells the tale of love betrayed in Sicily. It's available from www.blackboxmusic.com
