Far Cry On Windows 10

please help !
my grandson wants to play far cry on my windows 10 PC .
doesn't want to load .
any ideas ?

We need more info.

Saying it "does not load" is like saying a car "does not start" it gives us nothing to go on.

Are you installing it, if so is it from CD?

Has it been installed on another PC before?

Do you get any error messages?

What actually happens?

trying to load from dvd ( genuine ) shows up as compatability error
gets some way thru' downloading then flashes up error

Also which Far Cry? There are quite a few versions

In that little window down at the bottom left marked search the web and windows type compatibility wizard and then just follow it along
