FIFA 2007 (PC) How do I play my Friend On-Line?

I have FIFA 2007 on the PC ( and so does my mate ) however how do I play him on-line?

I go into the multi-player option and it says you can host a game, etc - then it says waiting for player to join.....then nothing.

Can someone give me a blow by blow guide to how to set this up - in laymans terms.

ok, what you need to do is first get your IP address (the address that your mate will use to connect to your pc). Go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/ to find this out. Give this address to your mate. Now, assuming that both your copies are legal AND have different serial numbers, try hosting a LAN game. Once you have got this going, your mate will JOIN a LAN game, and the game will ask for the IP of the server (that is you). It will then connect up and you go from there.
