dogfight/war games

would like a decent pc dogfight game or where your in control of a plane shooting at boats or ground vehicles, can anyone reccomend one? and if theres a site where i could check it out...many thanks in advance

Pacific Heroes 1 and 2 are worth a look

Have a dekko at Heroes of the Pacific - it's not the same as the ones mentioned by mattie. It's an arcade-type game rather than a flight sim. You get to do air-to-air, ground-attack, dive-bombing and torpedo runs. There's a demo available.
