The Sims 2 Castaway Stories

I have just finished playing the directed story mode and my Sim has decided to stay on the island. I can now play her in open mode just like any other Sim. However, I now want to play another story mode. Is this possible or have I misunderstood? I thought the choice of modes was always there. If it is how do I get to it?

Delete your save game and start again

Is that the only way to do it? How do I do it?

If it's on the PC, then I don't know. If it's on a console then you should have the option to delete the save game file either from the game itself, or via the memory manager option which you get when you start the machine without a disc in.

You could reinstall the game but that seems a bit drastic - thee should be an option to delete the save games somewhere
