I'm more of a desktop computer person, although I personally feel that your CPU (1.2GHz) could be one of the reasons as to why the game is jerky. I don't know much about the graphics cards in them models sorry. The recommended CPU speed for that game is 3000MHz (3GHz) so I'm guessing that doesn't help.
Upgrading the processor isn't that simple, you need to know what the motherboard is capable of (CPU wise). I wouldn't of thought your laptop would be capable of having the CPU replaced. Attempting to nearly triple the processor speed probably wouldn't be possible, I'm sure that someone else might know exactly how much you could upgrade it by, unfortuanatly I don't know. The other option is get another laptop, one with a better specification. I'm sure someone else could advise you better but it's looking like you need to get another machine sorry.
