Playstation 3 / listening to music
0 Answers
Hi. I now have Windows 7 and was pleased when i found out i can share music files from my laptop to my PS3 wirelessly. I have my PS3 connected to my Hifi so I can now listen to all my music without getting off my ar*e to change the CD.
However, I have quite an expensive HiFi system and feel when listening to music through my PS3 / Laptop combo, the sound quality is somewhat worse than when listening to an album via my CD player. If I downloaded all my music onto an 8GB memory stick and plugged that into the PS3 would the sound quality be better? My thoughts are that it's probably the low quality PS3 Audio cable that is the problem, but I can't see what can be done about this. Before anyone asks / suggests, my Amplifier doesn't have an Optical input, just analogue audio cable inputs.
