Doom 3 for Xbox 1

I notice Doom 3 is available on the original xbox. As I still have the console I'm tempted.

From memory Doom 3 came out about 2005/2006? As the Xbox was released around 2001 how would it compare to the PC version?

I still have the PC version and even in 2006 a pretty high end graphics card was required for a decent detail/frame rate. I'm concerned the old Xbox wont do the game justice.

Maybe running it on the 360 (providing its backward compatable) will negate any perfomance issues - or will the 360 simply emulate the old xbox's graphical capability?
