MM Links Results May 2012 Week 2
5 Answers
BigMac's 2nd challenge has now closed.
I can reveal that his chosen links were:
COUNTRY WALK
ADDICT DRUG
HOLIDAY ROMANCE
PEACE CORPS
But before I reveal who the winners and losers were, I offer a warm welcome to the game for newcomer 'cottack'. Please note though that the rules (posted at the start of the game thread) tell you that the answers are all from 4 to 8 letters in length.

Once again, the first player, roslyn251254, matched one of the links, DRUG ADDICT for 2 points, a pairing that was also favoured by rockfordill and grannydi within 2 minutes for 2 points each as well.
A minute later, tearinghair opted for PEACE CORPS to claim her 2 points
Then grannydi obviously fondly remembered a HOLIDAY ROMANCE for a further 2 points and patchett was fast enough to qualify for a bonus as well on this one.
Now that 4th link was looking like it had you stumped but just under 2 hours into the game, Handbaglady, presumably delayed by her morning constitutional, opted for COUNTRY WALK, which, along with a late 'drug addict', earned her 3 points.
Several single points were claimed by players too late for bonuses but notable amongst them for being double-hitters were ladyalex and x-ray.
With four double-hitters, the honours has to go to the first one and todays highest scorer:

Wow! I can't believe I was the first person to score with Country Walk, must be because there are lots of them around where I live. Three points altogether, I must be improving my line of thought this month. Well don everyone. Looking forward to BigMac's challenge next week. Thanks gen2 for all the work you do to keep tabs on us.
