trade in games with amazon
3 Answers
hi
i have traded in some video games worth about £75 i gave them in at my local post office on wednesday 6th June and it says on my amazon account that they still have not been recieved, on their FAQ's it says it can take up to 6 working days before amazon will recieve. The post office gave me a reciept and the last thing i remember doing with it was putting it in my back pocket, i've washed my jeans since then and have no idea where this reciept is. Now i'm worried that my games have been lost in the post and i will not be able to do anything or track where they have gone.
Is there anything i can do either with amazon or the royal mail?

6th June isn't that long ago, it could take several days to get to Amazon then they have to open and check the package, so I'd leave it a few days yet.
It's a warning for next time though, to be sure to retain that receipt.....

Thanks for the advice, just an update, I found the receipt!
I have spoken to the people at the post office, who actually are nothing to do with Royal Mail (really didnt know that!) They gave me a form to fill out which I must do after 15 days of posting. So fingers crossed I will get reimbursed, or better still Amazon will recieve my goods.
