Candy Crush Saga .......... Help Please

Just completed level 35 on Candy Crush Saga. I seem to have hit a brick wall and can only re-play level 35 or earlier levels. How to I move on to the next level?

Are you sure you completed it? Sometimes you have to hit a certain target to pass, 100,000 for example?

The target for level 35 is 250,000. So you may have cleared the jelly, but not hit the target.

It had me stumped too!!
You have to either go to Facebook and ask your friends to help you (I don't really know how - I don't use Facebook) or pay 69p to move on.
I begrudged that and thought if I went back and got 3 stars for them all it would let me move on but I was wrong.
I coughed up the 69p but now I'm stuck at level 50 - currently going back to the ones I didn't get 3 stars on. But I'll probably have to pay again to move on.
Great game though - I love it.

buttons, I have been utterly convinced in the past that I need to use real money to move on. I can be stuck for weeks, but then finally manage the level, without paying. It is tempting, Candy Crush is too blinkin addictive!

Just played a few more times and it's a bit misleading to say the least.
At the beginning of the level, it says clear all the jelly and reach 250 000, but at the end when I've not cleared all of the jelly it has a cross next to the box where it says clear all the jelly and it puts a tick next to a box saying score 140 000.
I think what might have happened is, I cleared all of the jelly and scored over 140 000 (so it put a tick in both boxes) but I prob scored less than 250 000, so I didn't actually complete it, even though both boxes were ticked ........ oh well :(

I'm on level 58, was stuck on 23 for days now been stuck on 58 for even longer! Am I meant to get 3 stars on all levels? What happens if I don't?
