Xbox 360 Controller

my Xbox 360 controller can connect fine on my laptop but I cant play a game with it and it worked fine when I got it but now it just stopped working and every controller I got for my laptop is not working as well...

I have uninstalled and installed the driver and software and even updated windows and still nothing don't seem to work... can anyone help me??

I am prepared to be wrong but 360 controllers only work with 360's. You need a wired 360 style pc controller.

You can get them, but they must be the Windows compatible versions. All the ones I've seen are wired.

All I can say is remove/uninstall all of the controllers you have and try re-installing them one at a time.

I've got one for my PC - great for Pro Evolution and driving games.

When you've plugged it in - try other USB ports if possible in case one is broken - you can press the X button in the middle of the controller and you'll get a little pop up window in the middle of your screen to tell you it's working.
