Dazzle Dvd Recorder ...how ?
2 Answers
My young nephew has asked me to get this sorted so he can record his PS3 gameplay.
i'm aware theres various ways to do this but I was hoping I could do this the simple way by just recording the output from the TV screen using the front panel outputs but having some problems,Ieg: I cant get it to work !
Setup as follows:
From front of TV using RCA component cable Red, White, Yellow (not S-vid black cable) into same on Dazzle, then Dazzle via usb into laptop.
using current d/loaded application from Pinnacle for recording but getting nothing on preview screen.
TV is usually set to AV1 for use with Sky but have tried Component but get nothing.
I'm beginning to think that this Dazzlle unit doesnt/cant record direct from TV and he needs a PVR card or something
anybody any ideas

If you're using RCA cables you'll need to use splitters, so that the PS3 signal is sent to both the TV and the Dazzle:
