How To Set Samsung Tv Up For Xbox 360...help Please

i got my kids xbox 360. i havent a clue how to set tv up to use it, i have plugged sensor , power cords etc in but on source botton onj tv remote it is giving me the option of either - tv/ hdmi/dv1 / pc / ext. vcr . which option do i choose from this list ?

i have tried every option but nothing is happening. i have the connection cables all in back of tv from xbox .

What type of cable have you used?

eg. if it is an HDMI then you select that option on the tv, if it is a VGA cable (like a computer monitor cable) then select PC etc.
