Hi, I have purchased a 3DS game in error. I realise that the game would not be in 3D on my DS, but would it still be compatable to play on the DS albeit in 2D!

We did exactly the same. Unfortunately it didn't work, so we changed it.

You can play it on the Nintendo 2DS but not the old style DS
