Deleting Apps On An Ipad3

The Apps wobble and then when I select one the screen freezes. I close it and later it has returned to normal but I have not been able to delete the App. Help please to delete the unwanted Apps. Do I have to take my IPad to an Apple Store to sort this problem?
Any advice appreciated

Which apps, the inbuilt ones can't be deleted, if a little 'x' doesn't appear when the app wobbles then you can't delete it.

The apps I want to delete are ones that my granddaughter put on to play games when I was on holiday but I do not need them now.

Try a reboot - Hold the top button and the home button down until a white apple appears. Then try to delete an app again.

In addition to the reboot suggestion, if your granddaughter has been using it there is a chance that you have an awful lot of apps running in the background, double click the home button and close down everything and try the deletion again.
