Backgammon

Is there a reasonable backgammon game somewhere? I've tried downloading a few from MS games but they are all rubbish. The computer makes stupid moves, and I can't lose.
Alternatively, can I rund Windows 7 alongside 8 on my pc?

I used to play real people on Royal Games .com. but not for a whole as its not ipad compatable. Very good though on a laptop.
