Daylight Robbery!

I drove into Brewery Wharfe car park in Leeds yesterday evening only to find that it would cost me £25.50.....yes you read that right.....to park for anything more than 5 hours! I would have driven out again but was a bit late for a function and there was no other car park near to the hotel. I also suspect I might have been 'clocked' upon entry and had to pay a fiver, or a fine for driving in and out again.
I feel violated!
What's more, it's showing as tho they've charged me twice. First time it said 'card rejected'. Grrrrrrr.

You would think so wouldn't you Anne! Going to have a word with hotel reception. I know it's not their fault but a warning on their website might be helpful.

I avoid Leeds like the plague. 20 years ago I avoided driving to it because of the parking & began using the train - not ideal.
