I note that now to avoid the closing date police it is thought a good idea to go to another section on AB to ask for help.I hope we are not all going to turn to Jelly in response to this because Baby that wouldn’t be a good outcome.

There should be the details as per the guidelines since it helps others to find answers or clues that have already been given.

I have always given answers or clues if I can, regardless of a compiler's no-asking policy or the time until the closing date.

As long as the guidelines are followed, folk should not be put off by anyone criticizing them for asking for answers or clues "too early".

Honestly I think that any quiz compiler who expects and believes that NOBODY is going to ask for help is living in cloud cuckoo land...and people have always asked their friends, looked in books and so on.
