Change isn't easy for some and I don't know if there are any new games that are similar to the old ones. Maybe try a different hobby.

Spyro, Ratchet & Clank, Crash Bandicoot, Mario, Donkey Kong and loads of other platformers. They don't make them like that anymore because as with everything the target audience moves on and tastes change, superb graphics and often online interaction are what's the fashion now. Plus a lot of games are aimed at much younger kids now too, the demographic has expanded hugely.
They don't make Rogers & Hammerstein type musicals anymore either but it doesn't mean you can't watch them with joy if you're into that kind of film.
It's completely valid to have a preference for older video games! They have a unique charm and simplicity that many of us love. If those classics between 1982 and 1997 are what you enjoy the most, then that's fantastic. After all, gaming is all about having fun and enjoying the experience. On the other hand, I'm a big fan of Counter Strike 2, which brings a more modern touch to the gaming world. The fast-paced action and competitive gameplay keep me engaged.
